Experience Across all Phases

I am driven by making the world a kinder, more informed and supportive place for those with a difference.
I believe in holding space, advocating and supporting those who need it, and educating others to do the same.
Having worked in education for 26 years across all phases and leading in SEND and inclusion at both Secondary and MAT wide, I am now offering a consultancy service.
I have developed a wealth of knowledge and skills that enable me to support schools and teachers to improve outcomes for all learners, for SEND departments to become outstanding and for children to thrive.
I have been part of 15 OfSTEDs in the past two years all of which were recognised for the strength in SEND and inclusion and many were outstanding.
I am passionate about seeing children in schools succeed and supporting teachers to see what is possible. I remain acutely aware of the challenge teachers face and aim to offer support to make schools as inclusive as possible holistically and thereby reducing teacher workload.
An exceptional speaker, I also deliver whole MAT, whole school INSET and lecture on PGCE and SCITT programmes specialising in SEND policy, practice and inclusion.
I have spoken at national education conferences on SEND and more recently on "Thriving in Teaching with Neurodivergence," aiming to offer practical support for neurodivergent teachers to thrive.
Experiencing an increase in those diagnosed or identifying as- neurodivergent in the workplace there is an opportunity to expand my support, strategy and training into this exciting and fast-moving space.
In my spare time I am a mum to three school boys and one big dog!
